Blog Basics

The posts we make to the Blog are in the order of most recent first. If you follow every day or so you will see each new post as we publish it. If you catch up once a week you may have to click on the "Blog Archive" below to find a date to start. Just scrolling down from the opening page will only go back a few days or so.

At the bottom of each post is a link to make a comment. We would love to hear your comments or just know you are following along with us. So give it a try. Just click on "comment", select a profile (anonymous will do), you'll need to type in a simple word verification (prevents spammers). BlogSpot is a Google function so if you have a Google account you can select Google as your profile and your name will be automatically entered.

Day 18 (cont.)

We made the 95 mile drive around the entire shoreline of Lake Tahoe. It was really beautiful but the traffic was so heavy today that stopping for pictures was nearly impossible.

A few of the pics are below, but they don't do the Lake justice.

Sugar Pine Point State Park on the California side was our choice to stop for a late "picnic" lunch. The park used to be a "rich dude's" summer home. Fortunately, it is big enough that getting in and finding a parking space was not a problem.
