Yesterday (Monday) we finished up our cleaning (ourselves, the RV, the car, laundry, and Isabelle) while at our second and last day in Bend, OR. Bend is a nice town and we've heard there is a lot to do here, but time was not available to give it justice as we needed to move on. We really planned too much for this trip so returning to many of the sites along the way and spending more time at each would be a plan for the future. We are on a "National Park Mission" and have to keep moving on!
Left today for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and Mt. Hood scenic loops and based ourselves here in Hood River. Arrived too late to go "go out and see" so we just made plans for tomorrow and an early start.
There really is nothing here in the state park, unfortunately, to share. But we are only here as a "base camp" for everything around us.
We have plans for a full day tomorrow including a drive up Mt. Hood and lots of pictures. Weather forecast is for full sun so we can't wait!
